Our Story
Doing Good for over 2 Decades
OLPS-US has been doing good in Kenya for over two decades. Our goal is to bring health, wellness, and opportunities to orphaned children and those living with HIV/AIDS in the Kisumu region.
Making an Impact, One Child at a Time
We accomplish this through individual child sponsorship, which provides access to private education. Working closely with our friends in Kenya, we seek to make an impact one child at a time.
Looking into the Future
In addition to child sponsorships, ongoing fundraising is taking place to increase food security at The Children’s Center. More ambitious long term projects include fundraising for a proposed school that will include dormitories for students, staff quarters, and larger brighter classrooms.

What We Do
Sponsor a Child
Child sponsorship are at the heart of what OLPS-US is all about. Sponsorship allows for more availability of resources and teachers and further support in the learning of math, science, foreign languages, and history. Sponsorship fees include all tuition costs, uniforms, school supplies, and after school fees for learning outside the classroom.

OLPS is currently working on building a more spacious school for over 98 learners from Kindergarten to Grade 7. We also operate a Children's Rescue Center, which provides a nurturing environment to meet basic needs, as well as an ongoing campaign to help alleviate food insecurity in Kenya. The OLPS School started in 2015 with 7 learners. This program has grown and is now providing services to 98 learners from kindergarten to Grade 7.
