What We Do

Overview

OLPS Creates Bright Futures and Healthy Communities

Through multiple community projects, OLPS tackles the issues of children’s education, safety, and health. You can support us in these endeavors by sponsoring a child in need or donating to our Girls and Boys School, Children’s Rescue Center, and Food Insecurity funds.

Our Projects

We’re Building Safe, Healthy Communities.
You Can Help.

OLPS is involved in multiple projects in Kenya, helping to provide education to children, fight food insecurity, and build safe, healthy spaces for children and community to thrive.

Children’s Rescue Center
The Children's Rescue Center is a healthy environment for children to obtain a meal and be safe. At the Rescue Center, we're able to provide orphaned or abused children daily necessities that are not available to them at home.

Girls and Boys School
Education and learning is available to all at the Girls and Boys School. Currently operating in a small space, our goal is to increase the size of our school by locating a larger campus, providing more housing to both students and teachers and increase the learning opportunities for all.

Food Insecurity
Food insecurity is a global problem. It is devastating to know that children suffer the most from this crisis. Our goal is to target sufficient philanthropic contributions to give aid for individuals facing food scarcity. See how you can help.

Juvy’s Story

Juvy’s Story

I had the chance to go through high-school, hand held by my OLPS-Kenya family & my family by love. They chose me & never gave up on me through all the seasons…even when I veered off track.

Bob and Jeanne Davidson’s Story

Bob and Jeanne Davidson’s Story

Florence wrote us a letter, addressing us as "Mom Jeanne" and "Dad Bob" and said several times that she thanks God every day for bringing us into her life so we can help her get a good education and hopefully achieve her dream of going to college.
